Cebu RTK Marketing, Inc. was founded as a Sole Proprietorship by Roberto C. Suarez and Teresita I. Suarez in January 1987 in Cebu City. The primary business is as a distributor of medical supplies in Cebu. By 1988, Cebu RTK was appointed as a distributor of Becton-Dickinson Phils., Inc. for Cebu and Bohol, followed by an appointment by Abbott Laboratories for the Testpack Pregnancy Test kit.
In January 1989, Cebu RTK Marketing, Inc. became a private family corporation with eight (8) employees, and two (2) major principals, and also distributing other supplies directly purchased from Manila. In the succeeding years, the product portfolio was expanded to include diagnostic supplies. Cebu RTK started importing from China for their very own brand of evacuated tubes: RTK Red Top, EDTA Tube, Blue Top and the Gold Top. Distributorship also expanded with the addition of other principals, which led to the increase on the number of employees.
In 1999, the first satellite office/warehouse was opened in Davao City. To be followed by an office/warehouse in Cagayan de Oro City in 2004, then in Iloilo City in 2007 and in Bacolod City in 2016.
With more than thirty (30) years experience in the healthcare industry, Cebu RTK Marketing, Inc. presently has forty-three (43) employees in five offices in Visayas and Mindanao, of which twenty-four (24) are on the Sales team. They import from three (3) countries, and is the partner distributor of more than ten (10) companies.
